14.1 Bronchospasm Associated with Asthma Adult and Adolescent Subjects Aged 12 Years and Older The efficacy of albuterol sulfate HFA was evaluated in two 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials in subjects aged 12 years and older with mild to moderate asthma. Life-threatening paradoxical bronchospasm may occur. Discontinue Albuterol Sulfate HFA immediately and institute alternative therapy. 7 DRUG INTERACTIONS Other short-acting sympathomimetic aerosol bronchodilators should not be used concomitantly with albuterol.
